This Open architecture provides real-time access
to the legacy Datafiles. Pre-configured connectors already exist
for Metropolis, Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2, and SMTP Mail
Services. In addition, the support for MQ Series extends to the
legacy IBM platforms as well providing custom connectivity to
individual systems.
With Synaro Integrator providing the
communication and transition platform, open connectivity is
provided regardless of the Web platform and desktop
applications. Because of the open and standards based
architectures and products adopted, the alphaPORTAL can support
multiple backend systems . For example both Imaging and some
high end printing applications can be managed by a single user
interface and can share common integration points throughout the
system.
